o beautiful
forgetful one

say:

i am not here
to be a prisoner
to fret and hoard

be illustrious
or dominant 
over slaves

i am much more
than all the praise
and might
and wealth
this world could ever
offer me

i’ve come to remember
who i am

know how far 
i can go, 
alone

become a friend
to the skies
and distant stars

and walk among those
who’re truly free

there is no place
for fear or blame

for anything 
except Love
on my journey

life-giving song 
of Existence
is who you are

plucked from
