in the center

of every atom

of your existence

there are eyes

and ears

there’s a mouth

and limbs

say la illaha il Allah

with all of your being

with all of your hearing 

and all of your seeing

with all of your singing 

and all of your speaking

with all of your silence

and all of your weeping

say it with your dancing

and say it with your walking

say it with your breathing

and say it with your working

say it with the vastness

and the  stillness

at the core, 

at the root

of who you are

say it like you see it

say it like you hear it

say it like you feel it

say it like you mean it

say it

say it!

like you are drowned

and immersed and 

one 

with your saying

with every fiber of your form

and every unseen

unknowable atom 

of your Essence

that fills 

the empty spaces
