what i write for you

is poetry

what i feel for you

is poetry

this is the strange truth

not entirely explicable

not quite

comprehensible

it arrives

as God’s breath

on mine

courses through my veins, and 

dissolves 

into a rapture

unlike any earthly pleasure

i have ever known

through these words

God calls me

to call you

are you listening?

what will

your answer

be?
