Increase Your Thirst
sweet water flows
to the thirstiest
now that you’ve awakened
and find yourself thirsty
dig a well
by all means
but increase
your thirst
don’t worry about those
who’re still asleep
drinking water
from the fountains
in their dreams
let them dream
let them sleep
increase your own thirst
and don’t go back to sleep
